Great Britain

I love playing "Zoom in on a random part of Great Britain on Google "

Met up with @Jannikkiel yesterday and took some long exposures of the cars driving by on the autobahn. It was a really nice evening.

If you want to feel free to use under CC-BY-4.0. :p

I just wish there was a global magic database of all gay people just available to me so I could go like: "Hey, Database, is PersonXY gay?"

I have someone in my daily life I have a crush on, but I don't have any idea if he's gay/bi, so that's been driving me insane for the last few years.

GitHub has this nice new thing where you can have it generate a 3D-skyline from your contrubution history. I could watch this for hours...

Some water seems to have leaked into the cables in my home, which resulted in my room and the bathroom loosing power... .

At least my PC managed to recover the project I was working on and was saving right when the power went out.

Python Hate, Swearing

I've just had to debug a script and honestly, just fuck python... Who the fuck thought "hmmm... yes, indentation should have meaning. And tabs and spaces should both work, but not together"

I'm having a minor breakdown over here...

For a future in which we are treated like humans, not walking barcodes, in which we are respected and not humiliated, discriminated against or treated like crime suspects, in which our options are not limited by an algorithm based on our body and looks.

Now's the time to act!
The tech is out there, but the EU is drafting new laws on AI.

Hey, fellow Mastodonians, what is your favourite music, like genres or bands etc?

For me, it is blues (Ben Ezra, Fat Walters), piano jazz (Fazil Say, Mieczysław Kosz), classical guitar jazz (De Lucia, Di Meola), old eletronic (Jarre, Koto, Kraftwerk), a'capella covers (Pentatonix, Home Free), and traditional Irish music (Loreena McKennit, The Henry Girls, Altan, Anuna).

When coding, some mild electronic-trans is my sweet spot. Keeps me focused for prolonged time.
